What the hell was the point of this occupation for two decades of this country if we were supposed to be fighting Al Qaeda and terrorism and once the US has withdrawn then they achieved this goal? And then the other way you can look at it is well we are still going to have a presence there and that presence will be from overhead and civilians will die. Yeah, they said explicitly when we pulled out of Afghanistan that we were still going to maintain over-the-horizon operations and that's what they meant by this. We should also say the Taliban part of the deal that Donald Trump negotiated with the Taliban was that you will not allow Al-Qaeda leaders to live in Afghanistan and apparently that deal didn't quite work out…
