Trump Pulling 4000 Troops Out of Afghanistan

The Trump Administration is planning to withdraw 4000 of the 13000 troops currently stationed in Afghanistan despite the suspension of US-Taliban peace talks. On the one hand, I am happy to see 4000 folks come home, the War in Afghanistan is mostly being fought from the air at this point, so it would seem that the troop drawdown does not directly correlate to a de-escalation of the war.
