Star Trek Picard - The True Season 1 Ending

Assuming that these machines invented the beacon tech in Picard Season 1, they would know how to come back and destroying the control panel would hardly stop them from making their true presence known. Therefore, this would be the canonical ending. And yes, this is at least partially inspired by the consistent rants by @Overlord DVD
