The US Army adopted the Sig Sauer M17 recently, but they also adopted the M18. The M18 is a shorter version of the M17 intended for General Officers. The Marines, Navy, Air Force and even the Coast Guard are all looking at or adopting the M18 pistol as well. The M18 from Sig Sauer is sure to be a hit with the community given the popularity of the Glock 19X since it's very similar in concept.
