Although it might seem that expectations are a good thing to have, they are not. Expectations are keeping you in a very limited focus of wanting something to be a certain way. If these expectations are not fulfilled how you feel will be negatively impacted, like feeling sad, angry, disappointed or the like and you will automatically shut down and pull back.

By having no expectations you are opening yourself up to dance with the whole Universe and beyond. Giving yourself the opportunity to play with everyone and everything, accepting it and them as they are. Which automatically shifts the energy and opens you up more and more.
