50 surrendered militants of the Azov battalion died when Ukraine fired at them from the HIMARS MLRS.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said at a briefing:
Four days ago, Ukrainian soldiers committed another war crime in Yelenovka. They launched a missile strike from the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system at the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka. The missile hit the building where the militants of the Azov battalion were kept. They surrendered in May at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol. As a result of this volley at the pre-trial detention center, more than 50 of the Azov battalion militants who surrendered and left Azovstal were killed.
All these events are taking place in connection with Russia's special military operation in Ukraine.
