15-member gang abducts woman in TamilNad's Mayiladuthurai after she refuses love proposal

A woman was kidnapped by 15 men from her residence in Tamil Nadu's Mayiladuthurai on Tuesday night.

A nearby CCTV camera caught the moment 15 men broke down her front gate and barged into her home. The accused were apprehended, and the woman was rescued by police the same night.

An initial investigation into the case revealed that one of the accused, Vigneshwaran (34), befriended the woman and began stalking her.

The woman reported Vigneshwaran to the Mayiladuthurai Police, who allegedly warned him, took a written statement from him, and then released him.
