Duramax LMM Knocking Pt.3: Allison Transmission Removal Ep.2
Injector Knock or Cracked Flex-Plate Diagnosis Series featuring my 2009 Chevrolet Duramax LMM Dually. Stay tuned for Pt.4 where we install the Suncoast Performance 1800 RPM Low-Stall Triple Disc Torque Converter and Billet Counter-Balanced Flex-plate before re-installing the Allison Transmission and test drive. #allisonremoval #allisontransmission #duramaxknock

With changing to a 1800 RPM Low Stall performance Stator from the OEM's 2200 RPM stator, I hope to see a fuel mileage improvement. 1/2 MPG improvement would pay for the stator over the next 100k miles as I drive across North America racing superbikes and enjoying dirtbike nomad adventures.
Vehicle currently has 59,900 miles. Knocking started intermittent 4 months earlier in August at 57500 miles. Truck runs and drives great and has no smoke after cold-start up.
