Dr. Inderjit Kaur is the Patron-President of All India Pingalwara Charitable Society (Regd.), Amritsar since 1992.

Born on 25th January 1942, Dr. Kaur obtained an M.B.B.S. degree from Govt. Medical College, Patiala in 1967.
After rendering five years of service with the Directorate of Health Service, Punjab, she took to private practice.
Dr. Inderjit Kaur was tremendously influenced by Bhagat Puran Singh’s life and mission, who spent his entire
life serving the abandoned, orphaned children and mentally retarded and poor, and constituted All India
Pingalwara Charitable Society. After the demise of her father in 1975, Bhagat Puran Singh ji took her as
his daughter. She emulated him in all ways and devoted her attention and energy to the service of
humanity. In 1986, Bhagat Puran Singh Ji nominated Dr. Inderjit Kaur as his successor.
