The Bible is very clear. When we submit ourselves to Jesus Christ our savior; recognizing his authority, living in obedience, and seeking him in our lives; we receive the gift of God’s spirit in our lives.

Jesus died on the cross so that we may be forgiven for our carnal/sinful nature. When we accept Christ as our savior we have the opportunity to TRANSCEND our human carnal nature.
