Raising Money For Veterans To Be Paired With Support Dogs - August 2, 2022 - Micah Quinn

A new company is putting in the work to help out veterans here in our city. Kilo-9 Elite Training Lethbridge is hosting an event where motorcycle enthusiasts will be taking their bikes out for a spin to raise money for veterans in Lethbridge who are in need of a support dog. The veterans and dogs will then be paired together. Organizer Corey Unruh, says the government hasn’t stepped up when it comes to helping veterans and he has his own story of how support dogs have been there for him and his family during a few hard times.

All of the funds for the event will stay here in Lethbridge to help out veterans. The festivities will start with a BBQ at 9am at the Kilo-9 Elite Training building in Lethbridge on August 6th and the bikes will take off at 12pm sharp.
