Sand Dunes in Colorado?//Retiring Early and Exploring the Local Sites in Our Promaster 136 Van

We’ve returned from Baja and we’re taking time to explore some of our favorite local spots - like the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve.

We join back up with our trusty fellow adventurers, Dave and Candee for a wonderful trip to the Great Sand Dunes right here in Colorado.
This time, instead of trudging up the 1000 foot climb through the sand to the top of the dunes, we’re taking a scenic hike around the edge of the dunes.
