Our exploration of Washington DC continues as we take to the streets on our bikes.

We spend a Saturday morning finding treasures at the Eastern Market, touring the Botanical Gardens, and then pedal passed the capital only to find ourselves in a parade of One Wheels.
Next, it’s on to the Museum of the American Indians where we are sadly reminded of the atrocities the United States government committed against the Native Americans - broken treaties and the legacy of the Trails of Tears. 😥

And we end our wonderful stay with my sister Ingrid and her husband, Andy with a night on the town at National Harbor and a sunset ride on the Capital Wheel Ferris Wheel.
