Former President Donald Trump used the presidential seal on multiple objects at his controversial hosting of the LIV Golf tournament in his New Jersey golf resort.

Federal law prohibits the use of the seal in a manner that falsely indicates an "impression of sponsorship or approval by the Government of the United States," but the seal was spotted on golf carts, towels, and other items in his resort Thursday, the Washington Post reported.
