Mazda Miata MX-5 - Midnite Runner - 009 Windshield Removal & Prepping

Project "Midnite Runner" Miata continues. In this video I've removed the windshield off the car to have a easier access during painting. CAUTION: If you are attempting to do this yourself, make sure you take your time, don't force the wires, force the wires will crack the windshield. Gently pry the plastic molding away from the glass to make room for the wires to cut the urethane. To install the windshield, insert the molding on the the glass. Lay a thick coat of urethane, then gently lay the glass on top of it. Center the glass, then tape down the glass to the body. Wait at least 4-6 hours before driving, best to leave over night for better results.
