The Unveiled Patriot - Convo #6: WITH JEFF NICHOLS

In this episode I am honored to have a convo with the host of the podcast History Comes Alive, Jeff Nichols. He is really a wealth of knowledge and his main purpose with his podcast is to have the listener "see" historical events in their minds. Not just trivial popular history but the stories behind and within the stories that truly make history come alive. We both believe that better context of historical events and prominent figures of the past help us make better decisions today.

We start off with the Analogy of the Cave by Socrates... we dig deeper into the godfather of conservatism, Aristotle... what is good government vs. bad government... we further explore our founding fathers... The Philadelphia Convention... Anti-Federalists vs. The Federalists... We definitely try to connect the dots of politics to today and a lot more here and there and in between... Then we end with the great George Washington!

Overall, this is my longest episode, many rants and tangents but I had a blast and look forward to having this gentleman back on to explore many other historical events.
