Building a new road DAY 5 RIP RAP Ditch & Branson Tractor!

DAY 5 and the new road bed is nearly complete! Join us today as we start cleaning up the brand new ditches and add some HD road felt, specifically designed for RIP RAP, and start adding the Rip Rap stone with the Branson tractor, aka 'Optimus,' a Branson 7845c 78 HP Compact/Utility tractor. This is the first time I've tackled a rip rap project of this size, so it will be a learning curve on trying to get it right and achieving the goal of stopping the water erosion! My friend Phil is joining me today to really help out with finishing the culvert pipes, getting them cleaned out and starting to lay the road felt and rip rap.
