Protesters tackle wall of barbed wire near occupied parliament in Iraq

Iraqi demonstrators attempted to remove the barbed wire set up around the Green Zone housing the country’s parliament, now-occupied by rival protesters who support cleric Muqtada al-Sadr. They stormed the parliament several days ago and have been staging a sit-in protest ever since.
