The Wartime Tunnels at Phú Thọ Hòa ...Địa đạo Phú Thọ Hòa
If you are in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and don't have time for a visit to the Củ Chi, you can see the tunnels at 139 Phú Thọ Hòa that are near the city center.

These tunnels were built by the Việt Minh in 1947 and were used to engage the French colonial occupiers of Vietnam (referred to by the French as IndoChina). They were the model for the more well-known tunnels at Củ Chi, and both tunnel systems were used during the Vietnam war with the USA.

Address: 139 Phú Thọ Hòa, Tân Phú District, TP HCM.

The tunnel exhibits are all in Vietnamese, and the staff are not
fluent in English.

If you want to go in the tunnels, wear long sleeves and no shorts. Bring your own bottled water if you go, none are sold there. There are restaurants in the area, so no problem for finding a lunch place.

My goal is to help those looking for another life to see what it's like in this wonderful SE Asian country. My hope is that you will visit Vietnam and just maybe you will enjoy it as much as I do. Some of the videos are just for fun, some are about the differences in the cultures.
