Remington did not settle, so why the misleading headlines

In a very public decision, four insurance companies settled with the nine families that filed suit against Remington arms. They circumvented the Protection in Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) by claiming that Remington violated Connecticut law in it's advertising campaign.
