Trump Threatens to Commit War Crimes in Iran

Trump tweeted yesterday that he is planning to target 52 sites important to Iran and Iranian culture if Iran strikes any American assets or personell. This red line essentially prevents Iran from retaliating after the assassination of Qassem Soleimani without risking an attack on their own homeland. If the US were to conduct airstrikes inside Iran, it would become extremely difficult to avoid a major war.
