- Patrick Mahomes injury scare: Mahomes had his foot stepped on which led him to getting his left ankle taped up in the injury tent. He acknowledged that he’ll likely have a bruise, but he and Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid said he’s fine.
- Jody Fortson injury update: Andy Reid says Fortson has a “quad strain” and should only miss a few days. Fortson left Saturday’s practice with the injury which left Chiefs Kingdom anxiously awaiting for today’s news. Coming off an Achilles tendon tear, it’s nice to see this Fortson injury not be considered too serious.
- Orlando Brown latest: Brown is ending his holdout and reporting to Chiefs Training Camp, but as of Andy Reid’s press conference, he hadn’t yet seen Brown. Many expect Brown to practice tomorrow. Travis Kelce said it was nice to have “one of our leaders” back in the building.
- Frank Clark motivated: In a recent interview with The Athletic, Clark said that he’s cut out liquor and red meat from his diet. Clark showed up to Chiefs Camp leaner and is looking sharp so far.
