Today's Topics:

1) The first segment is focused on the introduction of the Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and its origin with the Catholic Church. The concept is credited to both Saints Anselm of Canterbury and Bernard of Clairvaux. Later devotion was promoted through the efforts of Saint Catherine Labouré,

2) The concept of the Immaculate Conception is discussed and leads to the devotion of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which is explained in detail. It is through the example of our Holy Mother, that we can hope to develop a closer relationship with Her Son and ultimately get to Heaven,

3) The actual devotions to the Immaculate Heart (and Sacred Heart) are discussed in this segment, with a focus on how these behaviors will lead us to becoming closer first to our Heavenly Mother and more importantly to our Lord, Jesus Christ,

4) In the final segment we open with the Santiago Retreat Center Family Picnic video and then discuss the symbolism of the images of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Miraculous Medal
