White House Orders Congress NOT to Debate Iran War

According to Senator Mike Lee of Utah, the White House asked members of the Senate not to debate the merits of a war with Iran for they risked emboldening Iran. Lee saw this as a direct attack on Congress's constitutional war powers, as the attitude of the White House seems to be that the Senate's involvement would only undermine their strategy.
