Canning sun pickles with @OurUrbanHomestead

6 1/2 c cold water
3 1/4 c white vinegar
2/3 c pickling salt
1/8 tsp alum
1 tbsp mustard seed
1 to 3 cloves garlic
3 or more large dill weed
pack dill pickles garlic and mustard seed into glass jar mix remaining ingredients. Pour over pickles cap and set in sun for 2-3 days refrigerate until done.
