01-06-2020; Join me for a daily Farm Vlog from the Kapper Outdoors Modern Homestead farm located in Southern Illinois as I load up the 14,000 pound equipment trailer and take a road trip to pick up a load of 12 foot bridge timbers. We are hoping to build a bridge on our property across our Pond channel, that connects our 2 farm ponds. On this trip I head up to Milano scrap yard in Mount Vernon, Illinois and pick up FOUR 6-packs of salvaged bridge timbers. Each pack weighs about 2,700 lbs. Check out the fun sights at the scrapyard! They will be loaded with a CAT skid steer and we are going to try to offload them with my Bobcat e42 Mini Excavator! Of course we'll have some cool drone videos from the DJI Phantom 4 pro as well as some in Cab GoPro footage to put you right into the action! After off loading these we will load one half dozen pack on to my friend Phil's trailer to take over to his farm for future use. At $8 each we are both stocking up on these because there are all kinds of potential uses for them on a farm and acreage. Thanks for joining us, please hit the Like button, Subscribe and hit the Bell icon to get updates on all of our land mangement videos, country living adventures, Branson tractor projects, Bobcat mini excavator projects, food plots, duck ponds, building roads, rustic home decor, DIY barnwood furniture, our Kentucky rehab project and much more.
