In the Church today, there is a lot of division on different theologies. Many people, in fact, believe that these different divisions are not right. They believe that the body of Christ should be united as one body instead of separate bodies. Now, while this is a true statement, the body of Christ should be united as one body in Christ Jesus, at the same time, we, as the body of Christ, cannot accept teachings into the body of Christ that are contrary to that of the teachings of Christ. This then begs the question, what theological doctrine is considered to be too contrary for the body of Christ to accept? And what exactly are the dangers of accepting these teachings that some claim to be false doctrine? Isn’t everyone’s walk with Christ Jesus unique? So, shouldn’t each person’s perspective of the Bible be unique? Is there room for more than one interpretation of Scripture? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to the Truth about Church Doctrine in his message series, False Teachings Pt. 1: The Dangers of Universalism.
