July 27, 2019 Hive #1-Quick Inspection of a BIG Hive.

Inspected Hive #1, – Took 1 frame of honey, their 3rd deep is 100% capped honey (maybe 80-100lbs) THEY ARE BIG AND FULL OF BEES. Did see brood, but didn’t look for eggs or queen, ran out of time. Need to
give them an inspection and make sure Queen Right.
Re-thinking doing a second OTS Summer Solstice split on #1, kind of late. In addition there are so many bees it's been nearly impossible to find the queen.
Time to move brood to smaller hives and equalize the yard.
