Flash Flooding! Did the New Road culverts and Pond spillway hold up to massive rains!?

A massive rain storm dumped nearly 5 inches of rain on us here in far Southern Illinois! Recently we just built a brand new section of road across a very low and wet area on our Illinois farm that had one rip rap ditch and 2 drainage culvert pipes. Lets take a walk (while receiving flood warning weather alerts on my cell phone) to see how the new road held up after the storm, and how the dual pond overflow spillway held up! The pond spillway takes a HUGE volume of water since we've added the 2nd pond, and I also added the 'pond filling' underground piping system which dumps even more water into the ponds! This of course, was by design, to keep the ponds full even during drought conditions, but it does cause a LOT more water to cross the spillway during heavy rain storms like this one.
