Cheap Antennas - Dipole vs Vertical? What's Best?

They both work differently. A dipole will generally produce excellent gain perpendicular to the dipole element and a vertical will display an all-around-gain. BUT it all depends on the frequency and the height above ground. Let's take off the covers and find out. Callum, M0MCX.
