Couple's Desert Motorcycle Adventures - RV Life - Swimming and Pina Coladas at Lake Havasu, AZ!

Hello!

This video was recorded 10/2021.

We ended up getting in pretty late, as per usual, and decided it would be a heck of a lot easier to just find a temporary place to spend the night and go to our intended camp in proper daylight the following day. Katrina was a little disappointed about the lack of beauty of the overnight camp area once the sun came up, but hey, it was a spot to sleep!

We finally arrived in Arizona and found a beautiful and chill free camping area near Lake Havasu.

First things first; I had to make us some Pina Coladas to start things off right. I made some good drinks, but perhaps too strong, depending on who you ask... (it was Katrina).

On our first full day at camp, we both got some much needed R&R as the previous month had been super stressful. We had to replace our truck, turbo charger issues, generator troubles, etc. I pointed out what a special moment in time this was to have a second all to ourselves with no issues what so ever. The only annoying thing was our next door neighbor revved his truck every day for the 2 weeks we stayed at this place!

We met tons of fellow chill campers throughout the area in the evenings when then sun was setting and cooling off.

We took Sparkles (our motorcycle) out for a ride on some off road areas past other people's camps and got some great scenery, along with a portion of the ride being on the street to explore the city of Lake Havasu. Did you know you have the option to not wear a helmet in AZ? That's some sweet, sweet liberty for sure! Granted, I wear mine for for safety, not to be legal. I did however, have to do one ride without, just for the experience. Very intense feeling!

On a particularly hot day, we rode over to check out the lake and see if we could find a good spot to go swimming. We waded around a bit, swam, and I floated on my back as small waves knocked me against the rocks on the shoreline; a rather pleasant massage, actually.

We really loved the weather and the people around AZ, and would enjoy visiting there again; perhaps even living there at some point in the distant future.

Hope you enjoy!

We are Cody and Katrina, AKA Second Nature. We have been traveling the US in our 32’ 2018 Desert Fox 27fs toy hauler trailer since October 2021. A lot has happened since we left, and we hope you will come along for the ride!

When we first started on our trip a lot of chaos happened and we weren’t able to edit, so we’ve been working through our backlog of footage for a while. We plan to be caught up and current in the next few months. In the meantime, have fun watching our memories.
