In Sberbank, against the background of a shortage of microcircuits in the conditions of Western sanctions and problems with supplies from Europe, they began to cut out chips from old, but not previously activated cards and insert them into new ones, said the executive director, head of the cyber security department of Sberbank Olga Maklashyna.
