Bobbie Anne Cox Spearheads the Fight Against NY State’s Forced Quarantine Regulation

Attorney Bobbie Anne Cox joins ITN to discuss the lawsuit she, along with citizen advocacy group Uniting NYS, brought against the NY State Department of Health for their new forced “isolation and quarantine” regulation. The regulation would have allowed the NYS DOH to forcibly quarantine any resident of New York they deemed fit without first getting approval from a court. In a huge victory for civil liberties and personal freedom, Cox, Uniting NYS, and a group of NY State Lawmakers sued Democratic governor Kathy Hochul’s administration over the regulation and won.
