The Science-deniers

Why do I think I'm smarter than everyone else? I don't. I do know that I accept objective reality. And I also accept that objective reality is too painful for most people. So to avoid the pain they avoid objective reality whenever they can.

An example:
People who are gay are just following their sexual preference based on their DNA. Okay, I accept that. But the same people who tell you that will tell you that gender isn't DNA-related. Gender isn't something you are born with, it is something you choose, usually because of social constructs. How do we know people think this way? Because of all the people who say "fairness" is their life's goal and that letting biological men compete against biological women in sports is "fair". Why is it fair?
A) Because there is no difference between men and women.
and
B) Because people are what they claim to be, not what science says they are.
If someone is five feet two inches in height, and they claim to be 7 feet tall, then that is what they are, because to deny someone "their truth" is racist, sexist, homophobic and proof of allegiance to NAZI-ism.

Does this sound ridiculous to you? It's worse than that, it's anti-science.
