Combat work of the fire support group of the army aviation of the Western Military District in the zone of a special military operation

the crews conduct visual reconnaissance and, in case of detection of military objects, military equipment, reconnaissance and sabotage groups of V.S.U., destroy them using aviation means of destruction.

The shooters of the army aviation fire support groups are tasked with escorting military convoys and humanitarian supplies along public roads. They cover army aviation helicopters from the air, monitor objects and vehicles on the ground and identify enemy firing points while patrolling the area.

The servicemen help evacuate civilians from the liberated settlements from the front line of defense, cover them when approaching and loading on board helicopters, carry out fire action in case of emergency situations during the evacuation of personnel from the ground.
