"Did you just call me daddy?": Morning show hosts can't hold back laughter after on-air mixup

Global News Morning Toronto hosts Antony Robart and Candace Daniel broke out into fits of laughter on Friday after fellow anchor Liem Vu mistook Robart calling him "Daddy" when he was actually speaking about his children wanting entertainment during a segment on pets.

"Did you just call me... daddy?" Vu asked Robart as they attempted to hold already-spiralling banter before a commercial break.

As music played to the break, Vu compared the situation to the Oscars when an award-winner has to wrap up a long-winded speech. "You're done," he said.
