Sept 15, 2019-Mite Wash on Hive #5

Bee Log Entry: Hive #5 – Mite check. Moved some frames around, they need drawn out. Added beetle traps (lot of beetles), Saw queen, eggs and wet brood, gave them a pollen patty.
They washed a 1%. I am deciding not to treat. We will see if that was a good idea or not.
They had an odd reaction to inspection, almost like they swarmed and
didn’t know how to get back in the hive, or maybe the inspection triggered some robbing. The hive was all out of sorts when I finished up.
The next video will be a follow up to the hives odd reaction.
