Central MD's railway personnel have demined and restored over 150 kilometres of railways as well as four railway bridges in the liberated territories of the LPR. About 200 different mines and tripwires with grenades were detected and defused by the demining units. All detected explosive devices were defused, then taken to a safe place and destroyed. Local railway personnel also joined the recovery operations and work alongside Russian soldiers to repair the tracks. The restoration of railways allowed for the prompt delivery of food, construction materials and essential supplies from Russia to the liberated territories of LPR.
