Mexico border immigration "sewing" hunger strike request to be allowed to the United States
On the 15th, 12 illegal immigrants on the southern border of Mexico protested, trying to persuade the Mexican Immigration Agency to approve them to go to the United States. Some people took their children to participate in the protest. In recent years, they have arrived in Mexico in order to escape violence and poverty. The number of immigrants surged. In 2021, the number of asylum applications in Mexico increased by 78%mainly from Haiti and Honduras.
