Early A.M. in Port Perry & Outstanding View of Lake Scugog

Early morning with not everyone in the town yet woken up. Here is a drive through Port Perry. Also, wait for it...an outstanding view of Lake Scugog (just keep watching till you see it!)
The name "Scugog" is thought to be an Ojibwe word meaning "marshy waters". However, other sources states that Scugog is a Mississauga word meaning 'waves leap over a canoe' in reference, possibly, to the flooding of the river valley, or, more likely, the rapidity in which waves can be stirred up in winds due to the shallowness of the water.
