Pope Francis meets with residential school survivors in Quebec City (with English interpretation)

At the archbishop's residence in Quebec City, Pope Francis meets with a delegation of residential school survivors from Eastern Canada. The Pope is visiting Canada from July 24 to 29 to meet with Indigenous peoples and to address the role of the Catholic Church in Canada’s residential school system. The papal visit also includes stops in Edmonton and Iqaluit. (July 29, 2022)
