Discussion on brumbies and Australian Stock Horses

Brumbies are the ideal horse for our country - they have survived through natural selection to cope with our terrain and climate. Followed by Australian Stock Horses that have been bred for the Australian landscape. They all have good feet, are sure footed and good doers.

Interesting watching the herd bond and they've become a cohesive unit. Interesting observations. Particularly Ava who does a dramatic run from me, as if she had forgotten for a moment that she no longer needs to be terrified of being trapped. Penny is very smoochy - she is not looking well, and is underweight, but is happy and pain free. So as long as she is comfortable it's ok. She probably has cancer. She is under the care of a vet and is rising 29.
