Green turtles move using all four legs which are flattened to resemble fins/oars. because the body is slightly flat so that the obstacles created when the body moves in the water can be minimized. As a result, green turtles can move agilely while in the water. They are known to swim up to 90 km/hour, but in a relaxed state, green turtles only swim at a speed of 20 km/hour.
