Pushkin statues removed from Ukraine

According to RIA Novosti, on April 10, local time, a statue of Pushkin in Uzhgorod, Ukraine was removed. The statue of Pushkin was hung from the head and then separated from the base. Recently, Ternopol, Ukraine The city and Mukachevo also had the practice of removing Pushkin statues from their dining areas.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that the Ukrainian government has taken provocative "de-Russification" measures for many years. He said that Russia wants to see Ukraine as a friendly country that does not ban Russian culture and Russian language.
