25th Anniversary of the release of “Shawshank”

I was honored to play in a small jazz band combo that commemorate is the 25th anniversary of the release of Shawshank at the historical Ohio State reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio. It was an honor to be present in the room with many of the cast members as well as the movie Director.. This video is a short clip of one of the last songs that were performed by the band, when Alfonso Freeman, cast member and personal assistant to co-star Morgan Freeman, descended upon the stage and requested that he sing along with us a reprise of “Satin Doll“.
