Shooting a Firework into the Sky with a Bow Fails

Info from Licensor: Well you see...you give a bunch of idiots fireworks and while drinking for the 4th something is bound to happen. Needless to say my buddy had the idea of taping a firework to a bow an arrow and shooting it in the sky. Well let's just say laws of physics played a major factor in this one. After trying to figure out the best way possible for this to work we finally go out back of my house and get to it. My buddy Drew pulls back on the bow I get the firework to light and he shoots and all we see is the arrow go straight to the ground not even 5ft in front of us. We take off running and then boooooom. The entire backyard is now looking like Iraq. And for the ones wondering. We never found the arrow.
