Why didn't King Ahaziah trust God for his healing?

The story of King Ahaziah and his sickness in 2 Kings 1 is quite fascinating; not only because it gives us a sense as to how God feels when we look to other quarters for help, but also because it helps us to understand how God expects us to use some of our current systems.
