A 10 foot snake (python) seeking refuge from extreme bushfires, followed by flash flooding

Australia lost millions of hectares to bush fires recently. This video is 10 km from a 500,000 hectare burnt area. A billion animals were lost. This forced a lot of wildlife seeking refuge.
Then there was flooding this week, which put out the remainder of the bushfires, but also forced animals to seek safety. Again many died.
