Part 5 - No act equals Jihad in 'holiness'... - The meaning of the Sharia legal term "jihad" is deliberately obscured. Ibn Taymiyyah was one of Islam's most highly regarded scholars. He is one of 24 Muslims who received the title Sheikh al Islam for his scholarship and influence. We will examine his book "The Religious and Moral Doctrine of Jihad", which explains Jihad in practice as derived from the correct legal definition of Jihad in the Sharia. Let us examine a Sharia legal ruling on the correct definition of Jihad as we go through this book. See my ~50 hours of content on Islam on the UnSpun podcast with Jan Irvin.
