Sailing Grace: Sailing with Doug Jackson, SV Seeker

Its a long drive from Ohio to Oklahoma, but this was the second time I've made it, this time trailing my boat Grace, to visit Doug Jackson and SV Seeker!Show more

It was Doug's videos that got me to try making videos myself, when I decided I was going to design and build another boat, Grace.

The first visit, two winters ago, was to meet Doug Jackson and SV Seeker before she moved out of his front yard where he'd been building her for over a decade.

I thoroughly enjoyed the time, where among other things Doug explained his plan that, once launched, he'd take Seeker down the Arkansas river to Lake Kerr reservoir, and learn to sail her there, before heading on down to the ocean.

And he suggested I bring a boat down and sail with her.
